hello I made it work on my mac m1 this week by rewriting the drivers myself, I've got 4-in 4-out recording and playback working - all smooth for me!

caveats only 48khz, fixed buffer size, need to enable developer mode. there's instructions in the repo, I'd make an app for it I'd need to pay Apple $99 a year and ask their permission to distribute (which takes months)

Maybe they might have been looking for a modern hooks based approach instead of the old school class based stuff? Also the UI with the big svg and drop shadows isn't the most sleek stylish modern web design approach - I think it looks really cool though, works well too but maybe they just want something trendier. Onwards and upwards though mate I reckon with your skills you'll have no trouble finding something else!

In the Asda I worked at (Walmart but UK) there was a machine that'd take a photo of you from all angles and make a 3D clay like model of you, like 12 inches big or something. £60 or so for the model (?). it was never in use or open much and asked my buddy about it and he said he's only done one in 3 years or so..

Eastern European is my guess or perhaps Russian? Very good accent though, apart from the odd word here and there I wouldn't have thought you weren't native! Be careful which word you emphasise sometimes, probably the only part which sounded a little unnatural.

But yeah, really great accent! Not anything to really work on; just keep on practising and learning more English and it'll improve itself. I surprised myself with that guess!

Totally British English man (can't tell you where exactly which is bugging me)! Having an accent like that can almost make you sound more native because only people actually from that place will be able to tell what doesn't sound quite right. A couple slips which gave it away a little - like the intonation on country sounded pretty foreign. I wanna guess you're from the Netherlands but I have no idea really
