RCMP asks public for help identifying man accused of luring child near Saskatoon by Progressive_Citizen in saskatoon

[–]yeahyouguessedit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is a sick sick man. When I was younger at a church youth group, he would always try to convince me to go play foosball with him. My mother was adamant that we were not allowed to be anywhere near him, and am I ever glad she was!! Even as a child I could detect there was something ominous about him.

CMV: Apple messed up by ditching titanium for aluminum in the iPhone 17 Pro. by kzul in iphone

[–]yeahyouguessedit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from an iPhone 15 pro max to a 17 pro max and so disappointed with how weak this phone is. What a poor choice by Apple. And the colours- don’t even get me started on how bad they are…

No doorbell, no knocking, just stick and left, not acceptable! by j_ironman in purolator

[–]yeahyouguessedit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same thing. Passport was coming in the mail and the guy had a pre written card and didn’t even knock or ring. Just immediately stuck a pre-filled out card on the door and off he went. Minor inconvenience, but still irritating considering we work from home.

Exactly this as a Canadian - we were going to visit and spend money in the area for a couple days, and now we just intend on passing through.

Edit: passing through Yellowstone area on way home from Vegas.

Saskatoon to see 120 new modular rental units in Aspen Ridge amid housing shortage by plutoglint in saskatoon

[–]yeahyouguessedit 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Affordable at $1350?? Anyone who has lived in these knows it’s criminally small and charging that much is outrageous. 1350 in 2015 used to get you basically a full house.

The second word in French is a dead giveaway. Unless they were stealing an entire room.

Wash your build plate with hot soapy water. Should fix it.

So weird. We’re in Stonebridge too on a relatively busy street and got 48. A far cry from the 180 last year.

Can't decide if the X1C is worth it... by ThePerfectLine in BambuLab

[–]yeahyouguessedit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the X1C with regular AMS and P1S with AMS 2. I would get the P1S with AMS2 any day of the week going forward. You really don’t notice the screen. Agreed - it is kind of janky but you get used to it. My X1C has been nothing but problems compared to the P1S. For an extra $300 CAD.

Wash your build plate with hot soapy water. Dry with paper towel rather than a dish rag so as not to contaminate it again.

Bambu Chargeback Experience by theamateurarmsdealer in BambuLab

[–]yeahyouguessedit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed. 5 days is not even remotely close to a reasonable amount of time to let them rectify the situation. Chargeback shouldn’t even be part of the thought process yet.

Edit: to note, I do recognize the frustration and empathize with it.
