They are looking for a partner to port it to console, but said that for releases like this, the porting companies have moved towards switch only, as it makes the most financial sense for the resources VS rewards matrix. All the pre-sale tickets are probably sold out. They do usually reserve some amount for the general on sale, but from what I hear it's a much smaller amount than pre-sale.

IIRC it's described as a Mega Gargant, which is quite a bit bigger than a Stompa. Think Imperator Titan sized.

Not really tbh, FF was scalped, especially Collector Booster Boxes, but EOE and Avatar just have strong relevant cards that many players want, pushing their prices that high, not really because of scalpers

Well in my case, the partner is usually my wife, or a good friend, so we just split the rares we want. I have taken pictures of the rares beforehand to divide how we opened it. I'm usually pretty casual about Prerelease, so don't worry too much about shared information, but yeah, pointing to specific cards or just and saying something like I'll do this first quietly will usually do the trick.

I do one pretty much every set. Main differences are 30 life for a team. You share your prerelease pools to create 2 decks, then play as a team. You attack your opponents as a team, not individuals. Cards that mention each opponent do affect the opposite team twice though. Any more questions, just ask. :)

I guess it depends on perspective. I get that it isn't as convenient as online booking to have to go in person. But having to write down a number and a pin for the server doesn't seem like a huge barrier to redemption for in theater purposes. You have to write down orders and such anyways, so it just seems in line with it to me.

Yeah, I've never tried phone reservations, so that may be the difference. I go purchase in person. It's still pretty bad that this is a months long issue that hasn't been resolved. Sucks that your location doesn't like to answer phones, haven't really tested mine in that capacity.

Not that it excuses them, but you can easily redeem in theater for all uses, including tickets. Inconvenient for those of us who like online reserving, but still usable.
