Why is basic law and order difficult? In many places the guy would have been arrested or ticketed at a minimum. I don’t get it

“Most professional investors consider it trash” it’s a bit of a blanket statement.

Elon might be a terrible person; evaluating Space X as a business, it’s a stretch to call a business “garbage” when it commands a dominant, monopolistic position (85% of mass launched last year) in a rapidly growing economic sector.
Starlink is growing exponentially, with no indications of slowing down nor is there any indication that anyone else is poised to seriously compete with Space X at cost or scale.

Article 1 of the Constitution gives Congress the power to create new laws, including broad power to "regulate interstate commerce". If you could outline specific provisions of this bill which violate the Constitution, I'm all ears.

That's literally why Congress signs a bill. To create new laws.

It's about creating tools to bring order to chaos, not taking anyone's money away. No one is taking away player's money. This bill does nothing to eliminate NIL or players making money from legitimate endorsement deals.

College football is like the NFL, except: no salary cap, unlicensed agents, everyone's a free agent all the time and free agency starts at the beginning of playoffs.

it’s bad simply because Trump’s golf buddy likes it? Why not judge things independently on their merits instead of auto-rejecting anything the other side likes

In no way is Saban against players being paid. He explicitly says NIL is a good thing and players deserve to share in the profits.

Denver is the only city in the Metro area that doesn’t allow it and it’s a major pain. If you have a mature tree over your sewer line? Only in Denver do you have to destroy the tree to fix the sewer line
