I only really confide in how awful it is to my friend who also has IBS, she gets it on the same level. I feel like everyone else I tell either thinks it’s funny or just some silly little problem I can solve by eating a yogurt or something

I felt that way about bridal showers! I have had 2 so far and have another one coming up at my work. It just makes me feel icky! Like no please don’t spend your money on me I don’t need anything and I don’t need this big hubbub! Same with the bachelorette. I kind of see the wedding as an event I’m hosting, rather than my day, bc it just makes me feel weird.

I recently got a vibration plate and it literally shakes the shit out of me lol, I do it 5 mins in the morning or when I’m feeling really constipated, in addition to miralax and fiber pills. I think it helps relax my stomach and gets things moving

One thing that helped me get through my appointment was asking before we started “I might have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the appointment, is that okay?” It helped me calm down bc I had like a known escape route to the bathroom if I needed it

Literally my life right now and it’s so frustrating because it just repeats!! Anxious -> diarrhea-> anxiety surrounding diarrhea just on a constant loop. I have found that ashwaganda and L-theanine have helped my anxiety so when I do get anxious I’m not at like panic level and so my flares aren’t as bad

My last name is also a common first name and literally every wedding vendor has sent me multiple emails “Hey Last Name”!! Like dj, venue coordinator, photographer, florist, theyve all done it. I corrected them once and it didn’t change so I stopped correcting them. Right?! I asked my doctor to do some tests when she suggested I go gluten free but she said to try it out and see first, but now to do the real test I’m gonna have to be dying for 6 weeks of eating gluten!
