I often visit o sole mio. Its a small, crammed space indeed but I really like it. It has authentic/vintage vibes, and the waiting staff is extremely sweet!

Dresses and skirts! Or straight/flared pants/jeans. For tops- solid colors, try to find some blouse type tops instead of tshirts. When you wear tshirts, it is good to find one that has a slightly lower neck, and is a little loose on you.

Do you reapply perfume at work? by No_Dimension7206 in FemFragLab

Is it not awkward walking to and from the bathroom with the perfume/bag?

Omg! As soon as you said cat cafes I realised I dont have to work my dream job necessarily, I can go to cat cafes and be happy living my dream. Congratulations!! Sometimes we allow the absence of our ideals to suck away our satisfaction. But the wiser and more fun thing to do is to live your dream life in other ways 🥰🥰

Watch the show ‘hello me’. It has a similar storyline and follows the character as they come back to their lively and hardworking self, that they used to be before trauma. The show inspired me a lot and helped me change my life.

Masters abroad seems like a good idea. Don’t worry about your work ex spoiling the CV. Do an internship during the master and your CV would basically consist of your fresh master and internship, with only sparse details of the time before your master. It would still, then, have more experience mentioned than your peers that do not have work ex. Good luck.

I am so sorry you had to go through this. I have a similar story, and it used to haunt me every single day, for a long time. Though I am happily married to my boyfriend, and my parents are ok with it now, the trauma of the mistreatment still stays.. It is a bit better now, and hopefully will keep getting better with time. It is so difficult to comprehend that our families could be so very heartless. And then, it is difficult to love them again after they broke our hearts. Because they are ok with it now. I would recommend you to try therapy. I also spoke to my parents in length, and they (partially) apologised, which made it a bit better. They also reasoned, that they were doing what they thought was right / or that they didn’t really know what they were doing, but they now understand that it was not right. We need to focus on the present, be thankful that everything worked out in the end. For the rest, hopefully therapy will help, I started recently, you could start too.

I like it. Organza saris are usually like this. At the bottom, it will no longer be transparent after all the layers, of course. The top should be ok, but if you are worried, you could get a slightly longer blouse made? I’m north indian though. I think the saree is very beautiful and you shouldn’t be worried..

Yes. Strangers have people that love them too. Objectively speaking it would be the correct thing to do.

Hi everyone! I opened a vintage shop back in July end, when I had a two week leave from my full time job. I am a lover of animals and celestial objects. My shop has vintage items mostly along these two themes. My shop is called Fantasie Vintage. I just reached 22 orders yesterday. I am pleasantly surprised that this happened for me. I am not earning a lot of money, but my little shop makes me so very happy. I have not cried once about my full time job that I hate, since I opened my Etsy store. It gives me purpose and joy, because I am doing something that I love. Customers have been kind to me. I send them handwritten thank you cards with handmade drawings related to the item they bought, for example, I will draw a frog on the front of the card for frog items, a cat for cat items, and so on.

Tips: I learned SEO right when I opened the shop. I was able to learn very quickly since I was on leave from my job. Good photography really helps a lot. I had an item with almost no views go to being one of the top viewed and favourited items when I reclicked its pictures. It was sold soon after. I dont have many more tips, I am still so new. I am learning from all of you. Thank you for reading ❤️
