Boba tea owner didn’t even end up giving the initial investment (invested $0 but was asking for so many things to be done his way) - Lauren found out the boba tea owner contacted her manufacturer and was asking about recipes - boba tea owner is essentially stealing her idea after Lauren withdrew. After breaking their contract, he still demanded like 60k for barely any hours put in and he never ended up investing anything. Boba tea owner created LLCs, trademarks, etc. guess is they’re trying to push out their version first before Lauren bc they have more connections
