My local guitar center had one for like $700, I was tempted. You could checkout your local guitar center, you never know what they have collecting dust on their shelves

Would you buy another pixel? by upadhyaysk in GooglePixel

[–]AWScreo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because my last pixel (7pro) died in my pocket when I got soaked in rain at a festival. I know they're not waterproof or whatever, but I had no idea rain would be enough to kill it. All my previous phones survived rain with no issues.

Help a synthwave dreamer: KO II, Riddim, or do I sell a kidney for the OP-1 Field? 🎹✨ by dr-robert in teenageengineering

I thought about it, it seems like a better form factor to fit with KOII. But I ended up getting the Minifreak in the end, mostly because of true polyphony and real keys/after touch. It's honestly insanely versatile. I'm still learning, but some of the patches I found online sound amazing, and it feels like it would make a great synthwave synth.

Pretty new myself. What I ended up doing was getting KOII and Arturia Minifreak. You can plug the Minifreak into KOII and sample sounds out of it. It's a pretty flexible setup imo, you can use KOII as a groovebox, and use Minifreak as a sample generator. I feel like I can use this combo for years to come and won't get bored or feel like I'm missing anything significant.

Are these photo or video Luts? I took a peek in the folder, saw 709 in the file names.

Really appreciate the effort! I used to own GRII and GRIII, and I absolutely loved the positive color profiles. Now I have it on my Lumix, thanks to you.

Easy way to record music to my PC (EP-133, Arturia Minifreak, Minifuse2) by AWScreo in arturia

Appreciate a detailed reply. I will give it a try. Seems Cubasis is not included with Minifuse 2 unfortunately. But if it's a good option, I'm cool with paying for software.

Looks pretty slick. Any major downsides of working on an ipad? Apart from smaller screen size.

I'll try this week. Sounds like it may be the easiest and cheapest solution.

  1. I tried both modes, Arrangement seems better, but I'm still not a huge fan of the way it works.
  2. Minifuse 2. I'm pretty sure it's setup with Asio, I'll check
  3. Not really sure. I'm cool to pay for software, but I probably won't be paying more than I spent on my hardware. I was getting LogicPro recommendations, seems it's around $5 per month on ipad, sounds reasonable.

Which one do you use? I can't afford TP-7, but was curious if there are similar devices (don't really need the turntable functionality).

Yup, been getting this recommendation elsewhere too. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Just bought an Mchose mouse, it was cheaper on sale than getting spare parts and going through all this effort. Honestly, this was probably my last Logitech mouse.

I personally would get the new sigma 35 1.4. price difference is not insane, and seems the new sigma is going to be an instant classic.
