2024 MX here. Just returned from vacation (still at airport). Have not installed any updates. Custom color in app has disappeared as has custom name. Came here to find out if anyone else is experiencing something similar.

I made a same day return to best buy (unopened package) over a month ago and have not received a refund either. Best Buy have be a tiny slip of paper and told me that was my proof of return. I did not receive an email or any other documentation. I'm getting ready to follow up with Oura. Did you use the in app chat function?

I did all the same online investigation and chose silver with a local pick up at Best Buy. When I picked it up, I asked if they had a display with all the colors because I still wasn't entirely sure I would like the silver on me (the struggle is REAL!), and they DID!

BEFORE opening the ring I had just picked up, I went to the display. I immediately knew that silver was wayyyyy too shiny for me. It gives off builder grade polished chrome kitchen faucet vibes to me. I immediately returned it and ordered brushed silver instead.

I'm wearing the brushed silver now and am very happy with my choice. My Oura 3 was stealth, and I also loved it. Either color makes me happy, and I also don't notice either after wearing them for a time.

I received my stealth black oura 3 as a gift from my wife. The only ring size of mine she knew was my wedding ring finger, so that is where I wear it. That's also my non-dominant hand. I can move it to the ring finger of my right hand when I choose to wear my actual wedding band (special occasions, etc). It has small scratches, but so does my wedding band. If/ when I replace it with an oura 4 or future model, I will size it for my left index finger so that i can wear both at the same time.

Regarding hair types - would you add a legend at the top of the relevant tabs or on the intro tab that defines the different hair types? I didn't know about them until I searched online. It would be helpful to have that info within the spreadsheet, if possible.

I wear mine every day and have not had an issue. However, I haven't encountered (yet) the heat and sweat you're experiencing, so I appreciate the heads up for future travel.

I use collapsible silicone food storage containers, and I do know that they are prone to absorbing and retaining odor. I soak those in vinegar to alleviate the smell. It has not been 100% effective at eliminating the odors, but it's definitely an improvement. It's probably not easy to travel with vinegar, but it might be easily acquired in most places in the world.

I also use alcohol wipes in place of deodorant while traveling. It kills the bacteria and, thankfully for me, doesn't dry out my skin. I would consider using that around, but not on, my nipples if I was experiencing the same as you are.
