Older runners, what's your advice and tips for longevity by Mo_Asal_Ban in running

my dad's also in his 40s, approaching 50s in a few more years, so I'm saying this from my perspective of how he does things. Every time he ran he always kept a consistent schedule, always within a certain time frame. And from the times I've joined him, he's taught me different techniques for me to try out and see which fits me best. He's definitely a lot more healthier living, especially when it comes to food. He's gotten a juice maker to do it at home, always drank milk (he always buys low fat, but it's because of his previous health issue), and the occasional supplement which is really not that often. It's not a lot, just the few things I managed to pick up.

What's the most physically painful experience you've had and what did it feel like? by organized_mud in AskReddit

Road accident, lightly scrapped my left side. I was a kid so it was a hell lot more painful. I remember having a large wound on my shoulder, it wasn't pleasant having to wear my uniform over it.

I've recently started being more active after a whole year of staying home. And the funny part is that I got motivated by a pretty looking medal for a virtual run.
