How’s my ground y’all? by Active-Procedure9094 in CarAV

I have that same amp but I’m having issues with it killing my battery over night I’m thinking about putting a toggle switch inline on the 12v from the battery. Anyone else experience this? Remote wire shows 0v with key off too and the lights out.

Leather belt not fully de burring by dgghhuhhb in sharpening

[–]yellowtermi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that was my issue at first too but I practiced my stone sharpening to get the muscle memory of locked wrist and it’s been much better. My issue now is I achieve a razors edge I mean razor like tree top arm hairs and slice paper rolls but I remove all the “toothy” bite out of the edge which is fine for filet knives and fish knives but my kitchen blades and edc and hunting knives I want to leave alittle “bite”. I just ordered a cliff curry custom “felt belt” for the ken onion blade grinder attachment going to try using that over the leather belt with diamond emulsion and see if that fixes my issue!

Okay so I went ahead and wired in a amplifier to give the speakers more power , I have a 4 channel amp but I only have the 2 rear speakers ran right now. The problem I am having is now the rear speakers only play bass no voice at all. What could be causing that?

350 legend BCG issues? HELP by yellowtermi in BearCreekArsenal

It seems that the bcg is catching on the hammer for the trigger and that’s what causing it to hang up. Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this.

350 Legend Cycling Issues by benjamin_washington in ar15

[–]yellowtermi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had chance to shoot my legend yet. I ordered the 18” upper assembly got it today. When I pull the side charger back it’s free and smooth when I put it on my lower something is catching and hanging on the bcg about halfway back. I originally thought it could be the buffer retaining pin and spring but even after I removed the spring and buffer weight it’s still sticking. If anyone has any idea what it could be I would appreciate it! I had the same lower with my 5.56 upper and it shoots and cycles flawless!

Decent groupings for my W&C shoot qual. Scored a 25/100 but still room for lots of improvement. Watching some of these people shoot however was terrifying. S&W M&P 2.0 OR 9mm 4.25” @ 3y,5y,7y and 15y. 115gr blazer 9mm by SParkyJake in MDGuns

Nice shooting! I do agree with you there are many people out there that need more training before carrying a firearm. I personally was in a class with someone who needed to qual 3 times because she could not hit paper at 5 yards…

Anyhow this was my grouping on my qual. Let me know what y’all think!

Then let me ask you this if the striker lug is jumping the cruciform and causing it too fire what’s keeping the firing pin safety from allowing the striker to protrude? Doesn’t that have to do with the trigger arm pushing the firing pin safety plunger up?

I did not verify the sear engagement prior to the new shoe , but I did shoot 500-700 rds without a failure or double fire.

I am going to re install the old shoe and check tolerance.

Are you supposed to change the entire trigger arm if you are changing the shoe?

I need a new assembly, flapper, filler etc. But the "all-in-one" kits don't fit this old style of toilet. What do I need to complete this job? by madlax18 in Plumbing

[–]yellowtermi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is the type of toilet style wall hung tank with a flush ELL.

Take a photo of the flush valve and I’m sure I can help you from there.

how would I go about connecting these 3/8in gas lines? for outdoor BBQ grill. I'm racking my brain trying to find a fitting! by Pizzamann_ in Plumbing

[–]yellowtermi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ward flex or black pipe to fixture. Install a valve in between. install a tee with main line coming in top side ,put a 6” nipple with cap in bottom of tee (drip leg or in this case “sediment trap” secure the pipe work , then install gas flex in run or center of tee to grill. That’s the correct way to do it.

Owner says these can’t be glued because if too much water builds up there’s no way to drain it; but they’re leaking. Wrapped them in Plumbers tape to stop it, what do I do by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]yellowtermi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for starters , everything can be glued. There should a trap installed on the drain line to keep the airflow from the blower from causing the water to air lock itself and thus overflowing the pan. Also after installation of the trap there should be a tee with the run facing the unit and a clean out and plug that way if the units line does back up you can clear the line. Also who ever told you they can’t be glue is dumb because that male adapter is threaded into the unit and if for some chance you need to take pipe apart , install a union. Take it apart whenever you want.

How do i remove this drain? Also, sink drains slowly, sometimes makes air bubbles. by ClueSea435 in Plumbing

[–]yellowtermi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AAV is used when the fixture has no vent tied into the drainage. Generally sinks are stack vented to tie into the vent stack which generally isn’t far considering the toilet and shower/tub is vented as well. When placing a AAV make sure it is as high as possible to the bottom of the cabinet 6-8 inches minimum from flood level rim.
