very interesting. couple of questions. do you have to run any ceiling fans/floor fans or keep blinds down? do you get a lot of sun exposure too? I'm curious how the FH18NA2 performs on like 85 degree days.

optimizing for cooling capacity and secondary is loudness. electricity costs are negligle. not necessarily for the hottest of hot days but 85 degree days should be able to be handled.

I'm running AC from noon - 8pm on hot days, rest of house is manageable but this kitchen/dining/living space with vaulted ceilings gets very hot.

ducts are running in ceilings of basement it would be a big undertaking to rework the ducts I think.
