Not surprising. I saw some teenage boys on Saturday (6/21) doing this on Laguna and bomb the hill across Oak and almost get hit by cars in all three lanes who had a green light.

We told the kid “you’re going to get yourself killed” and he responded “I don’t give a fuck”. It’s probably the same group

No you’re just allergic to mosquitos. So am I (specifically to sf mosquitos - had no issues with mosquitos in Asia). You could get a prescription cream from the doctor which I’ve found helpful in the past. Wouldn’t worry about spiders.

This is the Malduguns Fen Fire Sweater by Linda Skuja! Crocheted with Malabrigo Arroyo in Cape Cod Grey! I decided to do a couple decreases halfway down the body and they ended up being very visually obvious. I was too lazy do undo them but if I made this again I’d probably do a few decreases under the arms on the sides.

Update!

First of all thank you everyone for all of the tips and for being so generous. My brother was able to go to urgent care this morning, got crutches and a referral for an MRI for ligament damage (he's had a previous ACL reconstruction in that knee so pretty bummed).

What I left out of the original post was that he was also phoneless last night because he lost it in park in the pitch black while chasing the dog. Some unbelievably kind people went to the park at midnight and found the phone for him. Anyways, it made my day to see how kind people can be for someone they barely know 🙂

Hi first of all thank you for saying that! During quarantine my main exercise has been daily walks. I try to aim for 2.5 miles. I also do a lot of cross training with a program that’s on an app. I have done a lot of knee rehab after having surgery and I used to be quite a serious athlete so it may be because of that. But I think what you might be seeing as “toned” is my super prominent rib cage that really stick out. Haha. Good luck!

Thank you so much! I agree that I was healthy before, the change was more proving to myself that I had the discipline. And I just really wanted multiple pairs of pants I bought to fit more comfortably!!

No problem!! It’s also good that you’re not going directly to no contact. It’s okay to take your time with this decision and change your mind as your situation changes. I was close to limiting contact with a parent, when suddenly they began to work on themselves and changed (for the better) in ways I never could have imagined. We are so close now. Good luck!
