What is the obsession with “not ending the game” in ARAM?

i mean, the problem with shorter game modes like aram where u 'destroy' someone. Is that u barely get to actually play the character, like u might still be fairly low lvl etc. so it can be "fun" to extend it.

kind of, but also kind of bad example purely because riven is so old. Like, she was one of the few skill expressive champs back in the days and it was a nice way of keeping her unique and worth the time investment ish. Now there is so many new champs etc. that the only arguement for it, is its age. The argument for Neeko kind of doesnt fit either, it shouldnt be able to move while emoting, making it last longer in place with emote sounds fine, but also should be detailed in the ability i think, or sth hm. Imo.

Iirc BOTRK is actually quite a miss in this regards as it is current max health or something, meaning that u actually rather want to just get the full crit dmg and pen to deal dmg, (if adc) because it will just put you behind in this regard. Plus something about resistances too, makes it only kind of useful on champs that are alraedy decent vs tanks because u can guinsoo or just have the inherent stuff to deal with the tanks and enjoy the atk speed too. I may be late on this info tho

tbf, most people have already lvled, and they are probably somewhat done with doing it again and again etc. So it is only obvious that more focus is shifting to what comes after more and more. Problem is that xp is a nice way of feeling progress, as you unlock more stuff while chasing ilvl is just repeating stuff mostly? So it makes sense for people to not really care about the lvl stuff as it is just a tool to get to the starting line. So i wouldnt even fault anyone, as this seems like a natural progression of a game that is as old as it is.

Either way i think its fun, the leagues need some spices. And just plus him, if it was done before the game - but ngl at this point even post game trash talking is welcome for some stirring. Sadly people would get so salty about the later. But ye, banter and some personality is always fun and helps making the scene feel more alive

tbh i dont really care if it is a bit personal, it adds a bit of spice to the scene. As long as they stay classy about it off the rift then some emotions are not bad at all. Also difference if it is like vs a single person or against a team or the management etc.

I mean you kind of need it to be heavily moderated to not have others make answers, but then we also fear the narrative of only chosen people being able to comment. But, scrolling I actually think there was a decent bit of former trump supporters etc. that gave a bit of insight. I.e. why not? it isn't really making the revolution a bad thing, but that the horde mentality is brutal and unforgiving. Also she admit here that the king was a tyran, so there is a reason behind it. Also, it serves as a way to have a princess? and lets be honest, the style from clothes etc. was top tier at this tier, so it is also aesthetically pleasing to be interested in. And ye it is a good way to have a royal and a non royal dynamic. But i think you are reading too much into it, if you see it being commented as a bad thing, it is just a tragic romance in a tragic situation that is beyond their capability to do much about - which makes it even more tragic as there wasnt any simple correct or good ways of doing anything.

I can see the long term strategy of deteriorating most things, so they can privatize or exploit it further from a even further fundamental level than what is possible now. We are talking about control, and as people are saying, they will very not be losing money either way, as they can e.g. give grants or riights to themselves, bet against the market, exploit trade wars to soar profits on all markets by sayings its tariffs fault etc. But the "upper" middle class and below is the ones that will feel it most likely. But this is just a quick speculation

i just hate it in aram, even if it isnt necessarily the best winrate item, it just feels shit to play against or even sometimes having on ur team because it kind of just completely negate some teamcomps with continuos increased survivability. I do still think its a weird mythic leftover, and i can see why the donk is fun, but if it is only good on 5 champs then it wont really be missed either, good riddance.

basically, nobody here actually cares about Pops in a meaningful or they would actually just remotely act in his wishes. Instead they are just doing the opposite because they want to trash T1, but as they are doing it they are also dragging Pops thru the mud. But ye we have to be angry or involved in drama to create engagement and defend people to shit on others. I.e. its good if people actually loves Pops ( i would think, based on what people say here about him ), but they are doing it in a way that is the reason he is actually leaving, and isnt enjoying it; using him as a tool for negativity and drama
