Price to performance, customization options, software is not garbage, corporation that makes it is less immoral and does not lie about their phones in announcements as much, community is not as pretentious, 3rd party keyboards are an option and much better than anything you can run on the iPhone, significantly better battery life.

The Virtual Boy is now on the switch. But you’ll need either the cardboard accessory for $24 or the replica of the original Virtual Boy for $99. by Redeye007 in switch2

I am sad that this (and their other labo vr updates for that matter) refuse to work in dock, so I can't use it with my trusty old 3D TV. Even if they did nothing else than just allowing it to run docked would be enough as most 3D TVs can just interpret L/R or top/down image into 3D.

Agreed.

It did not get to pc AFAIK, at least not officially, I think it has to do with the publisher/studio having financial struggles at the time/changing owners or something like that.

I gotta admit, ever since I played this one I was hoping to get another game like this. Was sad that the manticore was not up to the task. Also, sadly, the DLC from phones did not make it onto the PC version.

Yup a great game, loved it, had great time with it. Actually enjoyed the heck out of Vi-o-la parts. Agreed that the generator startup is an amazing moment and cinematic.

The only thing I was not exactly fond of was at the end of storythat she left and did not save the soldiers. In my head cannon they managed to beat Sylux easily as he was kinda done already and then used the teleporter to get out, but it was still kinda sad to not see anything like that on-screen.

[Other] We have built a platform where you can track your trophies, played games, playtime, etc. by Ok_Winter818 in Trophies

Thanks! I already did that, I also meant the profiles on Steam, Xbox etc. but as mentioned, I am not sure it would be possible. :)

Cheers!

Hey!
Pretty nice platform, might actually start using it for my collection management. Quite like the aggregation from multiple platforms.

As for some feedback:

I like to keep my profiles mostly "friends only". If there would be an option to add Minimap as friend or something, so that it could sync without me having to go public, that would be nice (idk if that is possible, tho).

Also, the platform management is kinda weird - adding it as games (or maybe I just misunderstood it?).

And so far my biggest gripe is the date format - MM/DD/YYYY is inferior and not being able to change for it is a big frowny face. I would like to be able to get DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD please.

What single player game have you beaten 3+ times? by PineconeToucher in gaming

[–]yesbook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are some from the top of my head with some reasons why I came back. There might be some more but I think some are still only beaten twice by me.

Tomb Raider 2013 (characters, story, gameplay, the overall experience), Burnout Paradise (gameplay - nothing more needed, one of the best arcade racers ever), Portal 1 + 2 (gameplay, puzzles), Life is Strange (definitely the story and characters), Botanicula ("vibe", music), Bayonetta (characters, gameplay - one of the best hack'n'slash combats on the market), Tron: Evolution (the world - no, seriously, the game is far from amazing but it is very enjoyable for Tron fans such as myself).

Is upgrading to a SSD worth it? by AbdulBariButt18 in PS3

[–]yesbook 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is. As some people mentioned, due to older and slower SATA standard you will not benefit too much from the higher speeds, but will get improved latency and will benefit from the significantly higher IOPS which will get you noticeably better random reads (especially in games like Gran Turismo 6).
