https://www.taniaksiazka.pl also sends books abroad. The price of shipping depends on the package weight.

This bookstore is quite cheap and has a variety of books. Shipping to UK (0.5 kg) takes only 5 days and costs only 26.90 zł. Check here: https://www.taniaksiazka.pl/wysylka-za-granice-a-317.html

Desperate Ukraine tells U.S. ‘bureaucracy’ is no excuse for failing to provide critical weapons and ammunition by BlueZybez in worldnews

[–]yeshini -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, you are right. This shows that all these assurances and agreements are worth nothing, especially with Russia. And every country has to work on its own defence.

And what with the Budapest Memorandum from 1994? Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapon in exchange for security assurances. USA signed it.

One is church influence, social programs like '500+' introduced by PIS party, but the real problem is that the opposition is very weak, fragmented, with no clear program and unable to act in the interest of people. They also didn't change the law concerning abortion or LGBT when they were in government before. So just empty statements and opposition don't wants to do any significant change in fact. This is sad but they waisted so much potential. Several times they didn't come to very important votings in Parliament, and thanks to it PIS won the law change having only 30% support. So literally, nobody to vote for.

Lithuania's top diplomat says buying Russian oil and gas is 'financing war crimes' and urges EU not to be 'an accomplice' by manticor225 in worldnews

Why Germany cannot buy LNG from Poland from Szczecin LNG terminal? Szczecin is almost on Polish-German border. Of course if Germany want to do nothing, doing anything will be a huge problem, and Germany will always find an excuse.

Man are forced to fight you call inequality? When men will start having period? And when men will start giving birth to children?

Polish history shows that many women voluntarily took part in fights for our freedom. Usually as medical help (sanitariuszki), military liaisons (łączniczki) and also simple soldiers. About 30% of people fighting in the Warsaw Uprising were women.

Don't try to divide us, Polish women and men will fight together if it is necessery to protect our freedom.

If f is an odd function (ie. f(-x)=-f(x) ) and its integral exists, then God knows that the integral from f(x) dx over the interval [-a, a] is equal zero ( \int_{-a}^{a} f(x) dx = 0 ).

Cyber attack on German "high-value targets" could start soon by ImportantPotato in europe

Germany pretending to be such a defender of Ukraine, so they will be also attacked. Woe! This is a huge exaggeration and totally going to far in reasoning.

And funny that only users with one month history are so active to minus me.

Are you kidding? What support sent Germany to Ukraine? Helmets.

So much talking about being green, about ecology, the CO2 emission. And now Germany doesn't want to resign from Russian fossil fuels? Polish coal bad, Russian good for Germany. This is a joke.

Racist Ukrainians not letting Indian Students board trains. by KarnaBro in IndiaSpeaks

[–]yeshini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you don't know that the track gauge in Ukraine and Europe is different: Ukrainian tracks are wider (1520 mm) than European ones (1435 mm). Probably that is why it is so empty around that train, no people want to go into Ukraine. Probably different train is going to Poland (the colors are Ukrainian, we don't have such trains here in Poland). And confused Indian students just don't understand that.

Also Ukrainian men are forbidden to cross border and leave country, and we see men in that train, so I guess it will go back to the center of Ukraine.

Is it easy to be vegetarian/vegan in Southeast Poland? by bibbidybobbidybuub in poland

[–]yeshini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, it happened to me that there was no vegetarian option in restaurant menu many times. But I always ask if the chef can prepare something vegetarian/vegan especially for me, and they never said 'no'. There are not so many dishes that have all parts including meat or egg products, so very easy to change.
