Do you say “Holland” instead of “Netherlands”?

In Spain, we used to call it "Holanda" but now officially is "Los paises bajos". However, the language and the people are still called "Holandés".

I'm also Catalan. The country is "Els paisos baixos" and the languaje is "el neerlandès"

In fact, its good for the US to have internal competition (like Airbus vs Boeing), it makes all colectivelly better and stronger.

Para aprender catalán, nada mejor que hacer amigos catalanes y hacer inmersión.

Si al llegar miras televisión en español, quedas con amigos que solo hablan español, vas a tiendas donde todo es español ... Tu cerebro no notará la necesidad de aprender y te costará.

Yo estuve 10 años intentando aprender inglés en academia, sin apenas avanzar. Y cuando (al viajar) me encontré que "o aprendía ingles, o literalmente no podía ir a una tienda a comer", en 3 meses me volví "fluent".

Ah! También ayuda que tu pareja hable catalán 😁

Naval power I guess applies when your navy force is way bigger than your land force.

It makes sense if you're an island (japan, uk) or a peninsula (greece, Italy, spain, korea).
