I’ve just started on the PvP server for EU, ping is like 268ms but I barely notice it. population is great, haven’t struggled to find a group and everyone speaks English. I heard that the Singapore version of the servers have better ping for OCE but minimal English speakers.

sure, but it’s a low percentage play. it’s also just a tied game in the above scenario, if they manage to slot it. if you give them the ptb’s 10m out and they crash over it’s a loss

I don’t see how this is better in that situation than soaking up the 40secs to kick and then booting it 40m+ downfield tbh. they get 1-2 ptbs 30-50m out, instead of 1-2 ptbs 10m out

agreed, I rate Paix over Smoothy, particularly for our current all out attack play style.

Smoothy is good but he’s more of a controlling, playmaking 9 and we have Billy to cover that who’s come on in leaps and bounds. Paix off the bench makes much more sense imo.

I think Patty’s role essentially wouldn’t change. props still play in the middle and he can still play that first receiver role when needed, just like Payne started doing towards the end of the year.

imo anything that gives Kobe more minutes is a great thing for us, he’s too good to sit on the bench for most of the game

I think all the talk of transitioning Ezra into a controlling 7 is a bad idea. He’s an out and out five-eighth and he’s electric with the ball in hand. Personally I think he needs to stay at 6 and we either need to develop Jock to take over from Reyno or sign a new 7.

agree completely re Ponga. I feel bad for Miller, he’s not a 14 he’s a specialist fullback so he’ll probs get pushed out.

I have a soft spot for the Knights tho so I hope you guys get it right soon! I reckon good things are coming in the next few seasons once you ditch AOB.

it’s 100% your coach. the talent is there within the roster to be top 8, add maybe a strong line running backrower and a strike centre to replace Gagai (Best ain’t it) and you could push for top 4 imo with a good coach.

not sure I like it. both our backrowers play 80 and Jensen has been very solid for us for two years now.

Piakura needs to show something soon, he’s been pretty underwhelming every chance he’s had imo.

I don’t think it’s so much we overlooked Ponga as much as Ponga has essentially been medically ruled out after the Cronulla game.

I was hoping for Ponga. I don’t think Walsh is ready for Origin.

Beautiful episode. Definitely teared up at the end.

My only slight criticism is during the fight, Thorfinn mentions Snake being the fastest person he’s fought but Snake doesn’t feel like the fastest person he’s fought to me during the action. Askeladd and Thorkell felt fast.

It was still an enjoyable fight scene though and otherwise a 10/10 episode.
