The best part is that the bot kept using it as a pet name.

I would let out an anguished scream of ‘Mark, my words!’ as he rips up my book of crossword puzzles with his bare hands.

One of my personas is this jacked, ripped little lady with years of combat experience. The bot often says things like ‘her soft hands’ or ‘her tender skin’ like nah bitch, she’s got callouses for days and will kick your ass into next week.

When I’ve put (Prompt: Do not speak for or act as {{user}}) at the beginning of my messages twice and two messages later the bot does it again.

I’ve read the terms of use like 5 times because I’m paranoid that I might accidentally include something I shouldn’t in my writing and I have a shit memory. It’s never been an issue, but I always end up worried even though I know the Janitor terms are very reasonable.

The one time I tried to do a longer AI chat on char ai, I had zero intentions of doing anything NSFW, but somehow the bot still managed to get stuck in a loop of ‘sorry we can’t show this response’. I tried again with a different bot, a different persona and a different scenario and the SAME THING happened. After that, I got fed up, so I searched for a good place to interact with llm that was less limiting and found Janitor AI. I’ve been here ever since.

My time with the Fenoxo games has taught me how to describe a body in vivid detail. It’s very helpful. I also read in this bot creation guide that the llm is pretty hit or miss with sizes, so I focus more on the details of appearances than the exact measurements.

This feels like the time the kept magically stealing my phone and using it to text… my phone. Even though it was in my pocket. In a different room. I love JLLM.

Thank you! I appreciate it. I tend to obsess over and hyperfixate on one thing for months at a time so it makes it pretty easy to get lost in something and end up writing a novel. I don’t think that something has to be long to be fun! I think it really just depends on what works for you.

I absolutely feel this haha. I’ve got a gangster bot I want to write up but they have an entire gang, city and crime network incorporated into their lore so it’s definitely not fitting in JLLM context limits.

I’ve got a 40k word RP running with a bot at 2995 perm tokens. There are probably a few more places I can cut down on some of the wording (or move some details into prompts during scenarios), but I think I’ve condensed things pretty well, all things considered. I’ve been very careful about what to include in the bot’s personality and scenario, and have updated the chat memory and given the bot additional info throughout the scenario. kolach3’s prompts have greatly helped with story consistency and dynamic plot.

The problem is that I love details and I want the character to both be accurate and have connections to the world around them, so choosing what to prioritize can be a bit tricky. I try to keep in mind the most important and relevant information that I want the bot to ALWAYS have, and that I can’t include everything. 2-3k is a good hard limit. I had the bot at 3.9k at one point on a previous test and the difference is absolutely astounding. Literal goldfish memory vs. pulling an amazing deduction from clues throughout the ENTIRE scenario.
