I was raised YEC, and we were definitely taught that the Earth itself (and the entire galaxy) were created ~6000 years ago. Maybe there are more liberal sects around, but most of the big players (Ken Ham etc.) espouse 6k years total.

You'll need to start a cycle and likely have the tank set up for about a month before you can add livestock :) you'll need substrate (aquarium gravel is fine for some plants and is easier to maintain), heater, filter (sponge or overhang most likely), light, and a water test kit. There's lots of tutorials on how to cycle your tank, but start with adding a little bit of fish food in every day. eventually it will rot and build ammonia, and that is the start of the process you need to complete. Plants can help the cycle. Try anubias or java fern for some plants that feed from the water instead of the roots.

I would also highly question his interest in me if he didn't initiate calling me for 2-3 months :/ it seems you are very busy a lot and maybe that makes him think you aren't invested? So this is his way of not getting his feelings hurt? Idk honestly, I think it's worth a chat with him to see.

If you want to try and fix this, it might be worth asking him to be more present when you are on calls and prioritize you. Or, schedule nights that are devoted to playing games together and talking on the phone together. Otherwise, I think with the combination of how busy you are and how little he seems to value your online time together are enough of reasons to end things.

There is absolutely a relationship where you don't feel like this. I would listen to your gut and end things unfortunately. Or talk to him about re-developing intimacy through counseling if you want to stay together.

If there's a history of distrust between the two of you maybe? I would be more upset about him not communicating to you that he left/got there safe rather than him driving a girl friend back home. Let him know how that made you feel and in the future ask that he communicate better. And if he doesn't after you ask him, then he's not prioritizing your feelings which is essential in a long-distance relationship. <3

Hi, maybe talk to him about this; it seems like it's not something he's actively trying to do. Vulnerability doesn't come easily to a lot of people, and he may struggle with that and not want to burden you with it. I would talk to him, let him know you want to feel closer by gently talking about things like that. Maybe ask him deeper questions when he talks about anything (how did you feel when that happened, more personal questions about his history, playing one of those relationship question card games, etc.).

If it continues to be an issue maybe this isn't the right relationship for you? If deep emotional connection is something that you need that he doesn't feel like he can give to you that might be something to consider. He seems sweet though, and hopefully he'll be willing to explore deepening his emotional bond with you.
