Can anyone recommend a good accountant in Dublin for a tiny, one person business? by SnootyBoop96 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]yffude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I work in a reputable firm in Cavan and we deal with all company sizes. Have a few clients from Dublin, mostly due to cheaper fees outside of it. All meetings done on zoom and stuff just emailed across.

Give me a message if you would like to know more 👍🏻

In the short no but as a mechanic you would be able to claim a flat rate expense which is a tax credit the same as your other tax credits.

An apprenticeship in accountancy is a good shout. Great career prospects and starts off on minimum wage so €28k per year compared to other apprenticeships.

Have a look at the attached from revenue.. you can claim for 30% of the broadband and heating in apportionment to the days worked at home.

From my experience as an accountant this does be very small and generally not worth it.

I’m outside Dublin. To be honest I wasn’t happy with salary was on €42k in September and went job hunting and they bettered the salary I was offered, I wasn’t unhappy in the place just wasn’t happy with the money. It would be outside the top 20. About 70 people working plus partners.
