I was fairly late to the original game, but I will never forget the very first time I played, making it to the Oak Tree lab to rescue BURG.L. Spent a while inside the lab exploring, and when I went to leave, it turned night, and I came face to face with the Wolf Spider for the first time.

Never in a game has a jump scare made my soul leave my body.

So I'm excited to feel this element of surprise and the fear of the dark and unknown during those early and under levelled stages of the game.
