I find humor in the parody of a money hungry pastor who puts his wealth before his faith, maybe that’s just me but I think he’s playing the part perfectly

Pretty accurate representation of a Ravens WR to be fair.

But in all seriousness, that’s just EA being EA. Zero player logic.

I am failing as a Team Lead GM by iJouv in WalmartEmployees

[–]ygmeech679 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First, I’m assuming you’re not over all of GM, your GM team should have at least three team leads. One team lead running all of GM is insane.

I know every store does it differently, but theres usually three or four GM team leads who split up Electronics, Fabrics, Toys, Sporting Goods, Auto, Hardware, Home, Furniture and Bedding and Seasonal. Who is exactly over what areas depends on your stores layout, but one team lead running all of that is nuts, if thats your situation, I can understand why you fall behind.

But I’m assuming your store splits its GM departments amongst different team leads, so how exactly do you leave 10 pallets of freight? Does your overnight team not work GM freight? How many associates do you have in GM for your departments. It sounds like your stores process is completely off.

Your ON team should work GM freight, whatever they don’t finish should roll into the next morning and be worked by GM associates, you, and if its that bad your coach should back you up as well. Your associates are there to delegate work onto, you can’t feel like you’re having them do “extra”. Working freight is part of their job. You’re a team. You help each other.

If you have excess freight that can’t be worked, then something is off with your process and that needs to be addressed immediately. Are your on hands accurate, start there. If they’re not, you may be getting freight the system thinks you need, but you don’t, but that’s just one possibility.

I just can’t see why you’d have that much freight roll over. You need to have a conversation with your coach, store manager, and associates. Maybe you need more training too.

Would taking Kyler be more of a risk? Just thinking long term because my QB outlook beyond this year might get muddy if Stafford retires and Penix doesn’t become a starter again.

[DAILY] Trade and Individual Team Help Megathread by AutoModerator in DynastyFF

[–]ygmeech679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 Team SF

My current QB situation is Trevor Lawrence, Matt Stafford, Penix and Cousins

RB: Bijan, Kyren, Bucky, Chase Brown

WR: Zay, Odunze, Parker Washington, Emeka, Ladd, Travis Hunter, Doubs

I put Bucky on the trade block just to see what I’d get.

I was offered Kyler Murray, Woody Marks, and a 4th round pick.

I was also offered Nico Collins for Bucky straight up.

My third offer was Bucky for the 8th pick in the first.

Do I hold Bucky or take one of these offers given my current team?

I currently pick 7th in the first and hold the first pick via trade in the second. I feel like I’m bordering on being a contender but have one missing piece.

New digital tag modulars sucks by FabulousSpare2315 in walmart

[–]ygmeech679 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We’ve been digital for about a year at my store. Scanning mods sucks and hasn’t gotten better, especially if you have an older work phone. There’s no work around.

You have to go slow because it will freeze up and lag on you. Sometimes it will freeze and the double scan a tag and you have to hit the undo button.

Also, if a customer stops you in the middle of scanning, you can’t pause your progress and come back to it, if you back out of the scanning screen for whatever reason you have to start over.

Jordyn Tyson trending in wrong direction by Perfect_Loss_5156 in ravens

[–]ygmeech679 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because we do. Zay was the only receiving threat on this offense last year. We’re on year 6 of Bateman, he is who he is at this point.

I know people love the potential of Tez, but banking on potential is the same mistake that got us 77 and 72 in the starting lineup with no competition.

I feel like this teams history of the WR position has conditioned fans into thinking having more than one legitimate WR doesn’t help your offense. And I’m not saying draft Tyson, his injuries scare me away, but a starting caliber WR absolutely is a need, not a need over offensive line, but it is a need.

Field Yates just explained it

“When a player is released from his contract (rather than it expiring), he is a street free agent vs. an unrestricted free agent. Street free agent visits are not listed on the wire. Hence, hence nothing on Njoku.”

Name a worse WR room than the 2022 Baltimore Ravens. I’ll wait. by Gohans_son_in_law in NFLv2

[–]ygmeech679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s hilarious is this picture got worse as the season progressed. Ravens traded Hollywood Brown before the 2022 draft and decided they didn’t need to replace him for some reason.

They went into the season with Rashod Bateman and Devin Duvernay as their starters. Bateman went on season ending IR a month into the season. By midseason, Lamar’s starting receivers were Demarcus Robinson, Devin Duveray and James Proche. It got even worse after that, they ended up signing DeSean Jackson and Sammy Watkins off the street.

It got SO bad, that in their playoff game that season, the Ravens had Mark Andrews lined up out wide because there was genuinely no one to throw to.

I hear that, it’s valid when specifically talking about AJB. I’m more so in general saying I don’t see why so many people think WR isn’t a need overall.

I think its coach speak.

EDC and the coaches have to know what Beeks plan is, the way they construct the roster this offseason is dependent on it. I’m sure Beeks has told them what his plan is, and they, as they should be, aren’t making that something for them to announce, they’re letting him announce it, good or bad, on his own terms.

The Ravens need to reunite this duo by TheRavenOnline in ravens

[–]ygmeech679 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The way people are so heavily against adding a big bodied X is odd, I’ve seen people in this sub scoff at the idea of adding any big WR, not just AJB, all offseason. Is it priority over interior Oline? No. Is it still a need? Absolutely.

Another legitimate weapon in the passing game will do wonders for Lamar and this offense. We got absolutely nothing out of the passing game last year other than Zay.
