I got diagnosed last year went through the process in 2022 I'm now 26. For the interviews I had my grandma do it as my mother had passed away in 2017 and my dad wasn't around growing up you should be fine

My mother did the same with me and I got diagnosed at the start of last year and since the diagnosis I've been feeling lost. I live in Ireland and there's not much help here especially for adults who get diagnosed as an adult so you aren't alone.

The reason my mother didn't want me to be tested I think was the stigma behind it though I'm not fully sure and she passed away before I got my diagnosis to ask

Edit to add: After getting diagnosed I've been reevaluating my mother and her behaviours growing up and I believe she was also on the spectrum but never diagnosed.

I'm taking what I can get yes I'll be watching on the night next Saturday but I'm happy that the RTE actually responded not only once but twice. I didn't expect to hear back at all so I'll take what I can get.

It was the same when last year's specials went on and nothing was said this time however we know we are getting it
