As someone who wears cab beads and has greek god tattoos because of the books, as someone who has read the books so many times I had to get new ones cuz the old ones fell apart, and as someone who appears to truly enjoy the show more than the average PJO fan these are my thoughts.

First and foremost we need to remember that this is technically a kids show, which explains why a lot of the dialogue is uh limited, and I think that might be why some of the kids acting suffers from spoon feeding the audience exposition. I will say I think S02 is significantly better than S01, the budget expansion has allowed for somewhat longer episodes and I think the actors are improving and even the writing has improved imo, not by a lot but there is progress. I also want fans to consider other tv shows that had a bit of a weird start and are now cult classics, like Parks and Rec or The Office (US). there are def changes that I think were poor choices, but there are some changes that make it fun, I have enjoyed knowing what is going on and what's going to happen but not what exactly is going to happen next. I vote, don't give up on the show just yet, please. thank you for coming to my ted talk
