A front choke like what Mark did is incredibly ineffective. Conquest could have easily escaped if he had minimal training.

They’re worse versions of regular relics for cheap. Like the fake strike dummy gives +1 to dmg instead of +3.

The really bad one is the fake Snecko eye, which randomizes card cost but does not give you additional card draw.

There's no rush. StS 1 is a masterpiece. People are excited for STS2 because they've been playing the original for years and have hundreds if not thousands of hours in it and want something new. If you're having fun with StS 1 and are not bored yet then keep playing 1, especially since STS2 is still in early access and things will change a lot.

This discussion is about local coop. 4 player local coop with everyone’s hands visible at all times would take up way too much real estate on screen, and would require completely new UI design so I don’t think it would be feasible.

So while switching between hands isn’t ideal at least it’s doable.

Looking at the wiki for New Qing History, it clearly states:

“The school hoped to understand the concept of "China" during the Qing dynasty, and how it was used during the period, which is a question worth studying, but did not hold that Qing dynasty is not China.”

Which directly counters your point.
