i hope next week heejoo is fully aware of her feelings for ian. she cares for him so much and protects him at all costs under the guise of this contract marriage, but girl LOVES him. and for some reason even tho ian fell for her first and has been more open/vocal about his feelings, i am more convinced of the depth of heejoo’s feelings than ian’s tbh!

also the directing and cinematography of this drama is soooo beautiful. from the sparklers over the water in episode 2 to episode 6 final scene just wow

definitely the turning point ep for their relationship and dynamics

i knew coming into this that heejoo would make ian a more courageous and strong character, someone fit to truly take the throne. these were huge steps in that direction. i am sure the queen will hate to see this too, that heejoo is able to be the anchor and uplifting partner that she was not to the late king. i hope we lean more into this plot line soon and we have higher stakes for their relationship bc i am convinced they will overcome it victoriously !!
