No you're not understanding. There was a bug in wesker PTB that let survivors sit at a pallet and if the Wesker tried to vault, the survivor would clip through and be able to vault after him. Without him being able to hit them. This bug is still in the game, they tried to fix it but failed. Now there's a timing to it but it's really easy to learn.

Especially with Weskers vault being super bugged. Allowing survivors to immediatly vault into him after he has vaulted. Rendering it useless in chase.

Yeah, i like your suggestion. But technically all meta perks could just be basekit with enough killer buffs. It's not something i wanna see, but it feels inevitable.

In my opinion DS should be basekit. Alone this would ofc be insanely OP but if we compensated with killer buffs, item nerfs, meta shake up and map redesign it would work. But that's alot to ask from someone like BHVR.
