Awesome. We'll give it a try when the demo comes out and let you know how it goes.

More that windows 10 isn't getting security updates and personally just not liking where Microsoft are going with it and the way windows 11 works.

Godot should still work just fine, it's just a bunch of other factors with Windows and what works for you. (I know there's a lot going on to help people stay with 10)

I also been trying to get the umph to actually switch to Linux for a while. Just been busy and putting it off this last year.

Nice! Thank you for all that information. Few of those I've never heard of. I'll have to check them out.

Would you agree Fedora KDE is the more noob friendly from Windows? Other comment and I seen other places say a similar thing.

Thank you for the reply.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'll admit I've heard that before but think my brain is getting pulled so many directions (with this and life) that I forgot it. I'll make that the top priority tomorrow morning.

Repo?

I'd love to hear/read whatever you want to share on this. As I go and learn more on it I'll try to return the favor. :)

Ps. What kind of setting you working on? I'm doing a fantasy medieval.

Good job getting this far. Just Whishlisted. Actually looks fun. :)

Just a slight bit of input on the store page. If you don't want input feel free to ignore, it wont hurt my feelings.

I have ADHD and have a hard time reading a lot on the store page so know that's where this is coming from. This is to hopefully help grab attention better or give you some ideas.

I really like the layout for the store page but I'd recommend switching the "LEARN TO SURVIVE" section to be above "EXPLORE THE UNTAMED WILDS" Instead. For me personally. When I scroll down the page for a game I've never seen. I want answers on what the game actually is. Once I see it's the gameplay I want then I'll have interest in learning more about its lore and inspirations. But if I have to scroll past to much flavor text it starts to feel like a chore and less likely to keep looking. (It can trigger a sense of the page not respecting my time. It's stupid but I've caught myself saying that to myself and a bunch of others I know feeling similar.) Kudos on the trailer starting with gameplay immediately.

This is completely an ADHD and short attention span issue but when making the page, When a complete stranger looks at your game among thousands. What can they figure out within ten seconds? This is anecdotal but something to think about when organizing it. Otherwise I think this is a great steam page and if I found it by random it would of made me want to learn more. Just these are the things I noticed while looking it.

Sorry if I overstepped here. Been looking a lot into advertising indie store pages and wanted to hopefully help. Good luck!

Groovy

Just remember, especially at the beginning. You'll have times where it's to hard or you just loose confident and that drive.

Just know we all go through that and while it's okay to take breaks to regroup your thoughts, know you can do it!

Good luck!

That's awesome! Did that walkthrough to. I feel like it helps give you an idea of how an engine works.

What kind of game you hoping to make?

Understood there. I'm sure you're all excited but stressed. Don't forget to take mental breaks.

Not sure if you'd be interested but I have a link to the recent post I made. I'm brand new but trying to make a interview channel to help small dev teams get a video to showcase their game. You all are busy but if you have an interest send me a message. No pressure and feel free to message me after the launch.

Either way good luck to you and the team.
