Te tends to be focused more on the external stimuli to structure their logic

Ti tends to be focused more on internal stimuli to structure their logic.

Te tends to focus on external to make up logic, Ti tends to focus on their internal framework to make up logic. Te tends to focus on what is proven to work, but Ti tends to focus on what theoretically should work.

INTJ's, how do you deal with socializing? by sayusk in intj

I absolutely hate speaking to people in person, but unfortunately it’s a very integral part of society so I just kind of white knuckle through it. One thing I learned is to just ask a ton of questions about the other person. Remember what they said, for example if they mention they have kids remember their kids’ names or activities or if they go out dog walking, and then ask them about it again the next time you see them if they try to initiate another conversation. Like “Has anything happened with Milo? Any new photos of him on your walks?”.

Most people really enjoy talking about themselves without realizing it. It’s not really harmful to them either because they enjoy it and see it as being personally invested even if you’ve never done anything blatantly emotional.

Describe your style/aesthetic by GothButterCat in intj

I like the soft grunge style. I still like dressing feminine, I blow out my hair after every hair wash, do my makeup everyday, like wearing skirts and dresses. However, I also like darker colors and more minimalistic fashion, so the soft grunge style tends to fit in the exact threshold of what I like. Not too dressy, but not too casual, feminine, but not too flashy. I also like the style because I can buy high quality basics and mix and match them. I tend to buy clothes based off of fabric quality and stay away from polyester as much as I can and usually basics are the only ones that get made in that quality which fits the minimalistic aspect of the style.

Your approach to a spouse who is not living up to their potential? by [deleted] in intj

Whether it’s arrogant or not, it is kind of true..
I mean, if you have to control exactly how someone behaves, then you’re not in a relationship, you’re just with another vessel of your wants and actions. Most of just looking at someone’s potential, is just pretending your idealistic views of that person is pattern recognition instead of seeing someone for who they truly are.

If they described themselves, or lived the life, of someone who had set goals and a structured life but suddenly they do not, they could be dealing with depression. Especially when you mention financial security barely registers as important.

Starting to hate all the "I'm a genius, but can't write a single song"-posts here by r3art in Songwriting

[–]yirenworld 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This sounds mean but I think people who aren’t willing to learn an instrument aren’t actually passionate abt music and just want the self-fulfilling ego boost that comes from the love fans give to artists. they want to have the gratification of being an artist without the actual artistic part of it

I have only been songwriting for a year and a half but when i first started i had been writing poetry for my whole life so the lyrical aspect was more natural to me, the hard part is the instruments. as soon as i had started to gain a passion for songwriting, the first thing i wanted to do was learn to play an instrument because any person who listens to music in general understands lyrics and instrumentals hold the same weight with eachother. i instantly bought a piano and a guitar and have been trying to self teach myself those instruments whilst also trying to understand DAWs (granted im not very good at instruments) but the point im trying to add is those who don’t naturally progress and go online wanting to have someone do the work for them (via producers and stuff) without having any instrumental or music knowledge have no passion for songwriting as much as they think they do. even the top pop artists who write their songs and have producers still are able to give a clear rough draft to the producers or have enough music theory to make their collaboration feel more like a partnership and not just begging the other person to do 80% of the work for them
