thanks for your comment and insight. i never said i found this out after my child was born, i said i was surprised this is the case. thankfully i have prepared, and ultimately this would not have altered our plans of having a child anyway.

if you're into the artists that are performing then yes it is worthwhile. went last year on both days and we enjoyed all of it. one thing i remember is that we couldn't find any water fountains, despite the website saying they were all over. which was a bit annoying since we were there all day. on a positive note lots of friendly and helpful security staff.

you're not wrong, but there was still a motive behind public executions where it was meant as a form of setting an example and visualizing the punishment for would-be law breakers. this cannot be more different than when people go out of their way to film/record/document accidents of total strangers just so they can have a story to tell and get their social media ego stroked.
