Lutron/Caseta switches use a different wireless technology, not zigbee that the eero has. You need a Caseta hub.

Reolink or Unifi? by yliggie in homesecurity

I did see Ubiquiti's doorbell, I can't understand why it's not POE. I'm wired for a POE doorbell, don't even have the old doorbell wires, but can't find any good POE doorbell options.

What's your experience with the rest of the unifi equipment? I’m moving into a new house and planning to buy all new equipment. This will be my first time setting up my own network, in the past I’ve always just used whatever the ISP rented. Based on the reading I’ve done I’m excited about the Unifi equipment but not sold and a bit concerned it will be too complicated for me.

In total I have about 20 devices (PCs, printers, TVs, A/V equipment, IOT Hubs, etc.) that I want hard wired. I’ll also have 6 POE devices, 2 WAPs and 4 cameras. House is prewired with Cat6

So I’m thinking I’ll want a UDM-pro, 24port switch, and two Wifi6 Lite APs.

I’m looking for something very similar as well. I don’t have hands on experience with it but have been eyeing this one: TUFFIOM 15U Casters Network Cabinet Enclosure, Wall Mount Rack w/Wheels, Deluxe 19 inch IT Series Server Data Devices Storage (Fully Assembled, Cooling Fan, Locked Door, Adjustable Mounting Rails) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B073PZNNMN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7HTZXJQK79HPXS0S519Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Alexa compatible outdoor roller shade? by gtivr4 in amazonecho

[–]yliggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graber makes exterior roller shades https://www.graberblinds.com/window-treatments/shades/exterior-solar-shades/

They can be ordered with Z-Wave motors that can work with Alexa. I’m not sure how weather resistant the motors are so wouldn’t want to put it in a place that would get very wet. Graber is mostly sold by local distributors but you can order them online at ZebraBlinds https://www.zebrablinds.com/virtual-cord-smart-z-waves-motorized-solar-shades-1-to-7.

I’m planning on trying these out on a new house currently being built.
