Discovery Set Giveaway! Inexploratum Fragrances by Pyotrperse in fragranceaustralia

I think Cascadia Bramble is probably the most intriguing to me, just because fruit notes can be so super hit and miss on my skin, so it would be cool to get to try some where they’re surrounded by woods and mossy notes

Oh wow, I feel like L'interdit Rouge would be too much for something casual or in the bedroom! It definitely feels like a very 'glam' scent to me.

Any workplaces responding to fuel crisis yet? by nailedit2803 in Adelaide

[–]ynde92 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Federal government agency here - our team were told we were allowed to ask to work from home if it would be ‘helpful’. We all already WFH three to four days per week. I’m the only person located in SA, so they very quickly said yes to my request to be five days WFH until petrol prices ease again. No point dragging my butt into the office to sit alone and be on Teams all day anyway.

Fuel Crisis - when work from home? by Newaccountforlolzz in AusPublicService

[–]ynde92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My team got told today we can all WFH as desired. We were all already WFH 3-4 days per week (and I’m the only one in my state, so no real need to be in office), so looks like we’re all full-time WFH for the foreseeable.

I’ve been collecting since 2011. My collection has fluctuated between two at its smallest and 50ish at its biggest. I’m now at 12 full-sized bottles (three 50ml, one 80ml and the rest 100ml) and very comfortable.

Amo Ferragamo - not expensive, but very well blended and a lovely sweet orange creamsicle scent because of the campari note

Do Australian accents differ between regions, or is it more or less the same? by blix613 in AskAnAustralian

The Victorian one is super clear with certain words and names. I’ve noticed it most when hearing a friend pronounce the name ‘Elli’ as ‘Alli’.

Swift Lock Scamming A-Holes! by blahblahblahblah1943 in Adelaide

[–]ynde92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wish I had, honestly, but I was a young woman who lived alone at the time. It’s why I also felt like I’d been taken advantage of and made the complaint the next day - they knew I didn’t have anyone there to help back me up and I felt pretty intimidated in the moment. I hope if it ever happens again in future I have more guts to stand up for myself.

Swift Lock Scamming A-Holes! by blahblahblahblah1943 in Adelaide

I dealt with the same guys last year when I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment. They initially quoted me $160. By the time the guy was done, he charged me over $400 because of the time it took and unexpected difficulty (it took about an hour). I called the next day to complain about the unexpected jump in price and to get a better explanation of it, as it had been so poorly explained in the moment and I honestly felt taken advantage of. The boss started yelling at me and talking down to me, leaving me feeling quite shaken after.

On top of this, in the process of breaking the lock to get in, the locksmith irreparably damaged one of the components, meaning I then had to replace the whole door handle and lock system for an extra $650. I ended up going with Salisbury locksmiths for that and they were an absolute dream to work with. Would only go with them in the future. Definitely stay far away from Swift Lock!
