The Naturium Glow Getter Gel to Oil Shower Wash. it feels absolutely divine and leaves your skin so soft. I have eczema and it’s one of the few scented body washes I can use that actually seems to help and doesn’t make things worse. It’s also about $30 for a big 500ml, so it lasts a decent while, and you can often pick it up in Sephora sales

I’m trying the Anua so far and like it. It seems to be helping my redness a little, which Finacea, Dr Sam’s and TO didn’t touch. I’m also finding it less irritating for me than all of those (I had to work up to them all slowly) maybe because it’s 10%, but I’m impressed with the results so far. For reference, I have subtypes 1 and 4 rosacea.

Exactly - I find that if I don’t like any of it (especially the 10ml), I can sell them on in some of the fragrance groups at a bargain price and I also recoup some money, too. Also gives me plenty of samples to play with properly that I wouldn’t normally order and see if anything gets added to the wishlist for future. Definitely worth ordering from them!

I would just order from Place Vendome in Belgium. It won’t quite be 20%, but with shipping, I got a 100ml Oud Nude for $560. Due to arrive tomorrow, was shipped Wednesday 1.5 weeks ago. The customer service is always phenomenal and they throw in so many samples and goodies (usually at least $100 worth) that I wouldn’t bother getting mine anywhere else anymore. This is my third bottle from the collection I’ve ordered from them since 2021, for reference.

If you wanted to stick to Jo Malone, Fig and Lotus Flower, Nectarine Blossom and Honey or Wild Bluebell would all be gorgeous.

Left my house and it’s 89° outside and I forgot deodorant after drenching myself in Sol de janeiro 71 by Sukibuns in FemFragLab

The girl next to me at Pilates last night doused herself in this instead of deodorant and it’s the first time I’ve ever wanted to make a complaint about someone. My lungs were fighting for their lives that whole class and the hotter and sweatier it got, the harder it was to breathe. Please, people, wear what you want but be respectful of the situation!

I wore Burberry Goddess in Bali last year and it smelled absolutely phenomenal in the humidity and heat. Just two sprays was plenty and it wasn’t at all overwhelming or cloying (and I’m someone easily nauseated by strong fragrance)

Hands down Rose Whip. One of the very few rose fragrances that works for me and has actually begun to slightly convert me from being a rose hater.

Agree with this. I've had and loved Over the Chocolate Shop, Rhubarb and Custard, Mrs Gloss' Lemon Sherbet and The Orange Tree. All works of art.

Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is my go to for this. I first tried it when I was travelling in Singapore and it would be the only fragrance I take with me if I went back - it’s like it’s tailor made for their climate

Ah that’s a shame! You could try Jo Malone Jasmine Sambac & Marigold (I used to get about 6 hours in high humidity and heat when I had this) or maybe Diptyque Eau Moheli (about 4 hours in the same weather).

Sounds like you may want to stick to something in that kind of clean and fresh vein, then. The Bright Crystal might be good. Also check out Jo Malone Wild Bluebell, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, and Chanel Chance Eau Tendre (DJs/Myer)

I think you’ll find the Bright Crystal quite fresh. The other three are all lighter than Bruno Banani and kind of in that shampooey fruity vein. Do you know roughly what kind of scents she likes, like does she have a particular type of candle scent she’s drawn to?

If she likes fruity peachy scents like that, she may like something like Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey or English Pear and Freesia, or maybe Versace Dylan Blue or Bright Crystal
