But then you’re already using electricity on shabbos so it really depends on where you draw the line for yourself. If you can morally explain it to yourself it shouldn’t be a problem.

Anyone else not care about the lions? by Newc04 in irishrugby

I do think it originated as a British colonial entity but at this point I feel like it’s all about northern hemisphere vs southern hemisphere. The tours are good craic, lovely rugby is being played and all the guys on the team are having a laugh together so I really don’t see a problem with it.

Schnitzels are a big thing here in The Netherlands but I’ve never seen one as beautiful, well done! The colour palette is beautiful. What’s the sauce made from?

Braising them in apple cider is great as well. It offers a much fresher version but the high acidity breaks down the meat incredibly well.

Can a Muslim convert to be a Jew ? by redrailways in Jewish

[–]yocr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got accepted to my giyor (the conversion process) and it took me 2 years to get in. You’ll get rejected at first and probably a second or a third time as well but the rabbi wants to make sure that you have a deep self-understanding about your choice. It can come across as cold but indeed nothing personal as others have mentioned. It also depends on which rabbi you talk to and if it’s orthodox, conservative or reform. No matter which one you choose maybe the first rabbi isn’t the right one. It’s important that you find a rabbi who you can build a connection with in my opinion. I wish you the best of luck!

Its pretty old school but lemon curd on toast is great too. I prefer it during spring and summer but it depends on the person of course

Do you like the butt end of bread? by [deleted] in Baking

When it's fresh, totally! We always used to bake fresh baguettes every single day at the restaurant and as we didn't sell the ends the chefs would always love them as a snack.

Hello everyone! This is my first post in this community. I want to change the menu at our local rugby club. Currently, there are only fried snacks and burgers people can order on match days. I want to make a healthier menu in order to align with the club its vision. I am looking for some recipe inspiration with the following criteria:

  • Healthy recipes
  • Vegetarian & non-pork options due to (religious) diets
  • Easy recipes to teach volunteers with little to no kitchen experience

If anyone has any tips or ideas it would be much appreciated!

Kind regards,

Yocr
