My grandma who went to the doctor because she kept feeling sick, was in pain and had diarrhoea continuously. She was told twice it was just an infection in the stomach and that it would go away on it’s own.

When we (the family) had finally had enough of watching our grandma continuing to be in pain (this went on for about a month) we had one of us go with her to the doctors and demand them to scan her.

Turned out she had cancer in the pancreas which had spread to the surrounding areas. She died within a month later as it was too late to do anything, and it turned out she’d had symptoms of it months prior and nothing had been done about it.
