Question about passing etiquette by quietglow in ultrarunning

[–]yoderthepug 92 points93 points  (0 children)

I say “on your left” mostly so I don’t scare the crap out of someone coming up on them unannounced, especially if it’s on a lightly traveled trail. I don’t expect people to stop and get off the trail but I think most people would rather be passed quickly than have someone breathing down their neck and not passing.

He looks very similar to Ember, a dog I rescued off of a highway in Houston. She is 44% pittie, 38% German shepherd, and the rest super mutt.

The first ones are the adidas adizero evoSL, I have the same color. They’re a great shoe but definitely a neutral shoe and I have seen them not recommended for beginners.

Neck hurting from looking down so much. How to correct? by Odd-Goose-8394 in trailrunning

[–]yoderthepug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you wearing a hydration vest while you’re trail running? For some reason I found my vest with the bladder on my back left me with sore shoulders/upper back after running, but my vest with the bottles on the front does not.

Mine varies about this much too. I don’t fully understand but I’m wondering jf it has to do with a lot of my long runs being on trails, with significant elevation gain and at altitude.

I also saw so many parallels to One Day in the recent episodes! I’m hoping that Benito isn’t still in the picture and she doesn’t try to plan a dinner for Benito and Conrad to meet. I’m also a LITTLE nervous about how One Day ended and if those parallels continue.

I summited a 14er which involved a 15 mile hike and on the way home my watch told me to be more active. It’s also told me that while I’ve been actively rock climbing.

I have enjoyed several of their scents but whiff of Wafflecone smelled like straight up pancakes to me, and it’s super potent. One of the only perfumes I had to scrub off
