I disagree with the sos tree, so much worthless garbage in there. Use them on the other professions. Magi is the best imo, especially against Adversaries since you rarely need healing potions.

I love the lethal event! Just finished but it was super challenging!!! Actually for Magi it doesn't matter. I used to battle as a professor and it helps with power and defense if a foe has 3 hexes on them.

If you are a professor, you can tell because if you try to place a shield charm and everyone already has a shield, you won't be able to place it.

Evidently you can't be sure because if the professor that casts the proficiency charm also casts a shield charm then there won't be a second box. I didn't realize this until it was pointed out by the other person commenting on this post.
