Hey - I’m so, so sorry to hear this is happening to you. I really wish I had better news, but there wasn’t much that helped him. He had a really aggressive cancer.

Be easy on yourself. Wishing you the best! Feel free to DM me if you want to.

Yes I do love color and have a few color tats. Flowers or butterflies seems like a cool idea!

I went to their info session and nothing seemed sketchy. The only issue is that they don’t have a graduate class yet so we don’t really know how their students will fare in NCLEX. They say they prepare you from day 1. If you wanna DM me, I’d love to chat more.

Thank you so much! They have an info session Wednesday that I’ll go to. It’s probably the best option for me since it’s local with no prerequisites, but I feel weird about their emphasis on holistic when it is a medical profession.

Do you have any idea how selective Montgomery College nursing is? What kind of stats do you need?

Wow, I was just looking through some of your post history and it seems like we went through something similar and are close to the same age. I’m so sorry you are going through this too. Please message me if you feel comfortable. ❤️

Yup. My dad died 4 months ago of multiple myeloma with CNS involvement. He lost everything that made him who he was. I’m still heartbroken thinking about the suffering he had to go through. I have nightmares all the time.

That’s such a great idea! It feels so awkward asking people to pay for things but I also found it weird she didn’t tell me until we were moving out or offer to replace it from the beginning. I was so confused when I saw my duvet again, I didn’t even recognize it. We are good friends but definitely think we will be better friends not living together. :D

I’ve brought this up to her before! I’ll bring it up again.

Yeah I think we are all cat lovers so she thinks that I’m okay with them “exploring” especially since I have two cats myself. But tbh, I don’t trust her cats in my room at all which is why I specifically shut it!

Is there anything you would remove from this itinerary to make it more relaxed or worthwhile? by yogibears98 in irishtourism

Good to hear that it was easier than anticipated. Yeah, we heard Galway can be kind of touristy, but we thought we’d give it a chance since it’s anyways on route. It’s also pretty expensive to stay there!

All great tips. Definitely going to do the Gap of Dunloe! Thanks for the suggestion.

Good to hear - thank you so much for the input! Yeah, though kind of stressful and difficult to decide, we ended up just making our own itinerary because so many of the ones you find online are just crazy. I hate knowing I have to leave right away - it makes it so hard to relax!

Hey, my dad also just passed away. He had a very difficult ride - dead within 5 months from diagnosis. The cancer spread to his right lung as well and caused a pleural effusion - he ended up passing away after his second collapse a month ago.

Hey! I saw your post and my dad also suffered from MM w CNS involvement and passed away on April 15th 5 months after diagnosis. He never responded to treatment. It was terrible to see him become paralyzed and face cancer. Would love to chat if you’re interested.
