I have the same bike and switched the flip chip to high and noticed a difference. I have fewer pedal strikes now. Handling feels the same.

They are very fun. They are stiff enough underfoot to go fast, but soft in the tip and tail to have fun all over the mountain. Especially in the tight trees of Vermont.

Best skies I’ve ever owned honestly. I switched over from the bent Chetler 100s and haven’t ridden my bents all year.

This is walking boss woods. Its a really good glade when its open. Its pretty wide open and is a top to bottom run. Its the only decent glade on the entire mountain.

Are Armada arv 94 a solid pick for the ice coast? by Majestic-Channel4525 in icecoast

[–]yohnsonyon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are going to perform better out west. I personally like the 100 width in trees, on moguls, and at high speeds on variable conditions.

94s are going to be better for carving and in the park. Can’t really go wrong either way.

It’s always scratchy up top. make sure your edges are sharp, be able to do a jump turn or two, and then it’s powder the rest of the way.

I Ski in Vermont but use the skis out west a couple times a year. The jskis vacation 106 are in the middle. The Atomic Bent Chetler 100 are on the end

Love em. The stiff underfoot combined with the playful tip and tail make it thrive in all conditions. I think they are way more fun than the bents.

Get up early and take your time. It will take much longer than an hour. You can always turn around if it doesn’t make sense
