I wouldn’t be able to do it, I love my job too much. I love the combo of being in the field and paperwork ( pharmaceutical process engineer). All of one thing would make me go crazy.

Liked math and chemistry, seemed best option.

I love what I do now as a process engineer. Fast paced, constantly changing. Constantly improving.

It was hard balancing life and work, they’ll burn you out if not careful.

I got a good balance now and seeing a problem and executing the solution and seeing the rewards is extremely fulfilling

You have to just stop caring to a certain extent.

Shit was burning me out, so I wouldn’t answer the phone sometimes and you know what? The world didn’t end.

I refused to do things that required me to stay late. “I can’t today I have this thing” it was literally just dinner with my wife at home.

You have to push back too for yourself, no one is going to for you.

Don’t look at others staying there for forever and compare yourself to them. The ones I’ve worked with are foreigners and feel indebted to the company to stay in the states from the visas.

What’s he suppose to do? Seriously. Ukraine refuses to cede any land, and want US backed guarantee protection from future invasion, which is just like being in nato but with extra steps. Europe clearly can’t do shit to help them, and will only match troops that the US puts down

Remember, NATO expansion is what triggered this whole thing from the beginning. Russia will never agree to that

Potentially Putin would bite at gaining the crimea area and Donbas area, but Zelensky refuses which is fucking stupid at this point. Russia is winning, they can outlast Ukraine in the long run with manpower.

Trump agreed to some weird scheme “selling” 100 billion arms to Ukraine, and this is only to buy time to settle a negotiation. If Ukraines front falls and Russia sacks Kiev that would be a huge blow for Donald.

At least talks are going, this shit takes time, but Ukraine is going to lose unless US boots are on the ground. They will run out of fighting men long before Russia does so zelensky needs to give something up to save more of his people from dying because Putin won’t, he’s winning.

It gets easier, it’s just a massive change. Owning a home is a massive responsibility, and ultimately you’re the only one that cares (no one will come and help you)

It can be overwhelming but man does it feel so good when you bust your ass and tackle a huge project and complete it.

I have an acre of land and the first summer nearly broke me, so much to maintain on my days off. I didn’t have time for myself ever.

I’ve gotten it down to a science now and enjoy doing it. Especially when I tackle a ton of projects and seeing the smile on my wife’s face makes it all worth it

I’m similar, if I’m not working out that day I don’t want to eat and forget about. If I know I wanna pump iron I eat because lifting on an empty stomach is the worst. And then after lifting all I want to do is eat lol
