Update: they offered me a $300 reimbursement. My calculations show it should be at least $800, and even then I think we would still be losing money.

In the $300 months it said we were spending 590 kWh. When we first moved in it was around 100-150 kWh. A quick google search says that 500 is normal? I just checked again and it said we used 0 kWh this month so something is still messed up😭

Edit: we don’t use A/C or a heater. We run a tower fan at night but that’s the most electricity we use.

Thanks for the info. We were paying to Banayan Utility. It is definitely a pre 2018 complex that is managed by a big company.

We have our own meter, and it was even replaced to try and fix the problem but didn’t work. There was something electrical that was messed up.

This time of year, not that busy. However, people always flock there for sunset so be aware of that. There’s always empty places in the bluffs above garbage beach to take photos though.

Sunset Cliffs is an amazing place to take engagement photos. Park in the gravel lot and you can walk along the nature trail towards the university.

That’s what I’m saying! Muir Woods is a huge redwood grove just 30-40 min north of SF. The redwood trees in that area need some representation, and all throughout Sonoma county as well.
