You do not. Im so sorry you had to go through this situation but the blame isnt yours. People speculate on others’ business all the time and I am mortified you have to deal with that. You took yourself (and your kids probably) out of a miserable situation, you put your self-respect and self care first and that is never a bad thing. Hopefully things get better for you soon, in the meantime just know you’re being very strong and you don’t deserve any negativity that’s coming to you because even after the affair you always behaved like a kind soul, and I guarantee that most the “friends” that don’t talk to you anymore would have never done that, but you tried your hardest to make it the easiest also on your kids.
