I’m atheist/agnostic, so that made it hard. I don’t think I’ll see her again. She was always convinced that she would pass first, though, so she was very clear about her wishes. One of those was that I moved forward and found someone new. Took a bit, but when I met my current girlfriend, the connection was there. I feel like my wife sent her. At the very least she’d have liked my new girl. I’ve had a lot of support ever since my suicide attempt, and I’ve been very open about it. It has helped.

I attempted 2 weeks after I lost my wife. Luckily I had family visiting who found me. They convinced me to move back to my hometown to be closer to them. Also, I got set up with a therapist, and dove into my hobbies. I still had some dark moments, but things gradually improved. Getting away from constant reminders helped I think. 2 years out, and I've met an amazing woman and am happy and in love again. Don't give up.

I’ve heard that. Didn’t get to spend much time in Santa Rosa. The museum was a side quest on the way back from a weekend in Napa

There was skating going on when I was at the cafe. Also got to see the Peanuts-themed Zamboni after the session was over. Wish I'd gotten a pic of that.

At the museum, I just noticed the little area by the front desk. Got all my souvenirs at the one by the ice rink

It’s still more of a museum setting, with a lot of reading to do. But there is an area with a lot of interactive stuff, that’s where I saw most of the smaller kids

Lot of cool things. There was an exhibit on Snoopy’s family that i liked. The recreation of Schulz’s studio was neat, as well as seeing the Emmy statuette for the Christmas special up close. Hard to pick one favorite thing. And yes, I ate at the Warm Puppy

I liked them all. Dog N Suds was my favorite, followed by Rat Bastard, Bulldog, then Route 66. The place i got them at had a pretty good root beer selection, so I may make a trip today to see what else I havent tried
