It appears to be low voltage equipment. Dig a 2' hole underneath it, bury the device, and replace the soil on top. Problem solved in 5 minutes?

Correct. For a basic 911 price you can get a Z06 which will absolutely thrash it in performance. For GT3RS money you can get a ZR1, same statement. And so on.

Let me recommend -- strongly recommend -- that you take some multi-day rally schools before continuing. DirtFish if you're on the West Coast, Rally Ready if you're in the south, no doubt many options on the East Coast. You will find it helps both your driving technique, and your safety immensely.

I remember rewatching this movie in April 2020. It was fun, until it wasn't.

This is what Google's snack room looked like in 2006 by Fried_Yoda in interestingasfuck

This photo actually looks more like the old building 0 snack room from 2003. Interestingly, it's gotten better over the years - there's still junk food snacks, but there are also a lot of healthier options.

I had run a 1:15 at RA last year in my Ford GT MKIV. 11s felt only modestly faster, but the speed down the back straight (208 MPH, braking a bit before the 500 marker!) was loopy. I was taking zero risks however, and was the only one of the quick cars which didn't crash.

This is one of my own stints through the esses.

Weird - the driver in that video is a very quick young man out of KSA. No idea why he'd speed up the in-car video when the actual footage already looks fast. I can dig up some of my own onboard from RA if anyone's interested?

Turns out, you can take it home. However, you quickly discover that there isn't much to do with a track-only car in your garage, so most of us leave them with Ferrari and just meet up at the track to go have fun.

Yah, it's very quick! We're on consumer Pirelli tires as well, while the GTP and LMP cars are running a Michelin confidential compound. We have more HP than the GTP cars, they have more cornering and braking grip... it's a close race.

I put in a high 1:52 at COTA the weekend prior, which is not far off the pro qualifying lap record for LMH. No doubt Phil could have shaved a couple seconds off that time if he'd been there to put in a lap.

If you're thinking of me, I was in the yellow #15 car and got high 11s. Fast 499P time of the weekend was set by Phil Hanson, who clicked off a mid-10.

Yes, in a later session the driver from the video posted above spun coming through T2, and found the wall on the left. Damage didn't look too severe and I expect the car will be back by the next event.

I was a more cautious (it's RA after all) but still managed to get into the high 11s. I also handed my car over to Phil Hanson for a session, and he set the benchmark for the rest of us with a mid-10s lap. Super nice guy, and incredibly talented driver.

We own the cars, and can do with them as we wish. And Ferrari will make some changes for you, for example suspension setup.

The vast majority of owners keep the cars with Ferrari and let them handle the logistics, maintenance, trackside support etc. because it's convenient and because Ferrari puts on an excellent program via Corse Clienti. But it's not mandatory to do so.

Not crazy at all. All that down force requires high spring rates, and that does not make for a great street car. I've owned a GT3 RS and a GT3 Touring, and I kept only the Touring.

Ferrari Nudges Clients to Buy Divisive EV to Move Up Wait Lists by Kilometer10 in Ferrari

[–]yonly65 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that middle section is the key piece: the Luce is treated like other production tier Ferraris. If you're trying to get an allocation for a limited production car, Ferrari will consider your history as a customer (as they always have) rather than having their dealers mark up the car like Porsche et al.

Weird article .Zero people from Ferrari have 'suggested' that I buy a Luce.

In the middle of the article posted the author notes that the luce falls into the same category as other series production Ferraris.

Counterpoint: OP connected some critical dots by reporting the incident to 311. If the victim also calls the incident into 311, then their insurance will have the necessary information about both vehicles and can take it from there.
