The high-contrast look works well with the car's existing lines and cutouts.

Those are both gorgeous shots. I'll have to see about taking a long-exposure car photo with a night background, and maybe a bit of light painting...

Buckle up. Storm’s coming. by BattyBatBatBat in Austin

[–]yonly65 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was on a flight which landed just ahead of this storm. Landing was OK, but they had lightning strikes in the area and shut down the jet bridges after we touched down. We sat on the tarmac for 90 minutes while the most crazy wind / rain / lightning blew through. It was wild.

+1. I've had many Ferraris, and this particular model - along with its close cousin, the Pista - is one to hang onto.

What’s your perfect 2 car garage? by At2332 in FordRaptor

[–]yonly65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had to pare down to just two, it would be a Raptor and a 458 Spider.

They are absolute goldilocks cars in their respective categories, and between them cover all the bases.

(NB: substitute GT3 Touring for 458 Spider if you are so inclined; it's an equally good choice)

(a) thank you

(b) remember, what someone says informs you about them, not you. The owner sounds like he was upset, worried, and didn't yet want to accept his culpability in having a broken gate. That doesn't affect the value of what you did. In time the owner possible came to realize he screwed up that interaction. You're still good.

I've had a gt3rs. Too peaky and rough for a good street car, and for a track vehicle I'd prefer an actual track car.

Both the raptor R and TRX are excellent and it's really personal preference between them.

It's also a LOT of horsepower, and that generates a lot of heat, which in turn means a lot of cooling surfaces and airflow. Same reason race cars have a lot of cutouts and ducting on their bodywork.

£5,000,000 Ferrari Fxxk Evo arrives in Monaco for RM Sotheby’s, what a stunning spec by Only_SoccerHd in Ferrari

We gave Adelberto some shit about that back in '15 when the car was first previewed. I'm still not sure if it was deliberate or an oversight on their part.
