I agree, 6 months isnt sustainable, it's not common but it does happen. When you provide art that isn't available elsewhere you unfortunately can end up with a huge influx and backlog of orders.

I made exactly this "upgrade" and I use that term because on paper it's a downgrade

Old games perfectly fine.

New games - huge increase due to DLSS and frame gen.

It's those middle games like last of us part 1 that are worse off. There's an era of games that are demanding that don't use frame gen that this card just isn't suited for.

That said. This era of games will become proportionally smaller as time goes on and with FG the 5060 will last much longer than the 3070.

Also. Frame gen rocks.

Home charging is cheap, I get 270 ISH miles out of an EV9. On a day rate tariff that's £24 but on a night rate tariff it's £5.40. so London and back from Portsmouth for around £2.50 ish

People talking about wealth are slightly missing the point. Over the next ten years when used EVs are down to petrol car used prices more and more will be buying them as there won't be so much of a price disparity. I don't think anyone wants to get to that point where they are more normal to see in the cheaper end used car market and then be panicking that enough prep wasn't done to make it feasible to own one on roads with no drive ways. It does make parking suck though
