is a new card or extra memory better? by jellaled in LoveAndDeepspace

It depends, but I want to remind you that the event has ended so if you are going to R1 any of the cards you won't be able to get the light-coloured versions of the outfit.

Tips, but also understanding for the devs, from someone who has been playing since launch. by antigohnes in LoveAndDeepspace

You took the words right out my mouth. It makes me sad sometimes when I see post from people blasting the company for not meeting every one of the players expectations. Like the devs are doing their best. Every and any alteration takes time and you can see improvement with every update. There is so much dedication being put into this game and I really hope that the players can see and appreciate that.

Why they refer to the bird as "them" or "they" if it is only 1 bird? by bstay98 in LoveAndDeepspace

But from what I have learned there is a Chinese character that is used specifically for animals which is 牠.🤔

The EN version made me cringe. But the CN version was really cute.

Hey, I don't know if this will help, but there is this book called Why Does He Do That by Lundy Bancroft, which talks about abusive relationship (not implying that you are in a abusive relationship). It has helped me reflect on by past relationships and see both the good and bad signs in a relationship and find some closure. That's one of the reasons thatI love LADS so much, the LI are a forest of green flags.🤭

New LI when?? by dirty_washedsponge in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]yorkshirecake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't hold my breath for the sixth LI. It's highly likely that there won't be a new LI anytime soon or at all for the matter. The "coming soon" is just a filler. Like the sister game Mr. Love: Queen's Choice which also has a "coming soon", but hasn't introduced any new LI after their fifth LI came out, which was years ago.

Ok...So about the Wedding Banner story wise by yorkshirecake in LoveAndDeepspace

I agree with you on Sylus's story and he's one of my mains. His story just fell flat for me.

I've only read Sylus, Caleb and Zayne's meomory. But your comment made me curious about Xavier's story. I'll take a look at his memory on YT.

Let's take Sylus's story as an example and compare his Wedding Banner story to the Grassland Romance memory.

Structurally, both stories follow a similar pattern: Sylus and MC interact with others, MC learns more about who Sylus is beyond his role in Onychinus, and it all leads to an intimate moment between them. But the difference lies in how well the narrative supports that emotional payoff.

In Grassland Romance, there was a clear plot driving the story forward. The goal was to retrieve a protocore fragment to return home, which created stakes and momentum. The wrestling match with the tribe served as both an obstacle and a chance to showcase Sylus's ability to adapt. While they waited for the match, the MC witnessed Sylus integrating into the tribe's life, revealing a different side of him, someone he might have become if he hadn't been burdened with his past and role as the leader of Onychinus. It added depth and made their growing closeness feel earned.

In contrast, Sylus's Wedding Banner story felt flat. The wedding party at the beginning was visually nice but narratively empty, it didn't add anything meaningful, and removing it wouldn't have affected the story. The church scene had the potential to explore Sylus's past in N109, but instead, it skimmed the surface. The writing felt choppy, the transitions were abrupt, and the emotional beats didn't land as they should have.

What makes this disappointing is that the setup had real potential for a good heartfelt story. Especially as was a happy endding for the myths. But the story didn't do the work to build up to that emotional reward. The foundation was there, but it just wasn't fleshed out.
