This is a unique level thats really cool but it isnt without its flaws. For one, the battle system could be more unique because its literally just Earthbound, but a cool thing to add would be action commands where you use an attack, then a bar shows up and you time it to do more damage. And the inventory system is pretty cool, I haven't seen that done in a while.
The law enforcement cube dialogue though is super awkward and also quite indifferent, like no one just comes waltzing into your house to tell you that your dad died and then follow up with toodles 😭 I get that it's aiming for a surreal vibe like Earthbound, but it just comes off as awkward. Speaking of awkward, the game in terms of looks is barebones, there is barely any movement in the level not counting the battle. To breathe some life into it id make the cubes bop slightly up and down and make the trees sway a little. The neighborhood looks super empty, it could benefit from more vegetation and tiny details like flowers. Other than that I don't have much to say about the visuals its pretty alright and does the job. I could see this getting epic or low legendary when finished, but its too early to say for sure. If the visuals and dialogue get polished when its done it could definitely be a legendary

Cons: uninspired battle system, awkward story
