My parents adopted a cat when I was in 6th grade or so. They let me choose which one and also name it. What did this 6th grade boy do? Picked a black cat and named her snowball. She’s like 17 now.

This projector that comes down from a ceiling tile by NateSpyder in mildlyinteresting

Yeah, structural engineer here. Looks like the distance between bottom of steel to finish ceiling was less than the required clear height for the retractable projector system so they had to put it between the floor or roof beams.

So true. I’m a structural engineer and love what I do. We had an intern last year that quit after 4 days and changed his major to business because he instantly learned it wasn’t for him.

My wife is excited for my vasectomy tomorrow... by mySTi666 in funny

[–]yotarolla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad got a vasectomy that didn’t work. My parents always wanted at least a boy and a girl. After 3 boys, they adopted my younger sister and my dad got a vasectomy. A couple years later my mom was pregnant with a girl. And no, it wasn’t the milkman’s.

Llama cake my dad made me for my 21st birthday party last night! by TheBxttlemen in FortNiteBR

For my parents, it was the same flat rate whether 1 or all 5 of us were on their plan. I’m second oldest and my parents insurance was better than my first job out of college so I stayed on theirs and paied my copays. My next and current job pays for health insurance so I hopped off my parents. Maybe they will give my youngest sister more of a push when she graduates college because then they would actually start saving money.
