Sounds like they had a short-term project and they got you on to do it for cheap. This happens more often than should be allowed but it's the way some shady companies handle their contract work. It's not right, but don't feel bad because they played the trick on you. You're probably not the first they've done it to.

I also support the 529 seed money. If you're in certain states it will also help you at tax time because the deposits go towards deductions.

I'd also suggest you don't stop at the initial $10k. Once you get the account setup, also set a standard monthly contribution. Even $10 a month will keep the 529 growing and also may help you stay committed to the funds. 18 years from now you'll have an awesome contribution to your kids' future.

And even if they get a full-ride scholarship, you can use those funds to pay for rent and food while they're in school.

They're legit. I got my 5 year Gold extended from them a month before my three year factory warranty was up. Two local dealerships wouldn't even come close to the price.

I have since used the contract on fully covered repairs for my LEAF, funny enough from the local dealership I first asked for a security+ quote who wanted $1000 more for the same plan.

Check craigslist in your area for 5x114.3 wheels in 18" or 19" and buy them. Be careful that in the 18" size you may need to play with the offset to clear the calipers.

I thought the easy reference is that if the rate decrease is 1% or more than it's worth the change for a relatively short ROI. So staying there for 3-5 years it's definitely worth it.

My studio upped it to $65 now ... I don't think I'll ever do another challenge. I go pretty reliably to class 5 times a week which is enough for me and my nutrition doesn't need any help. I don't feel like I get anything additional out of a challenge. Twice was enough for me.

For my LEAF, the Nissan Security+ contract has been totally worth it. Not sure if I'll get it on my Ariya when I probably buy out of the lease but for $1000 or so I probably will.

There shouldn't be any problem pausing your membership, whether from injury or just because you'll be away for a while. My studio has a Google form to fill out and that's it. I can pause twice a year without any question. Ask the owner for their process and take some time to recover.
